LEAN and MEAN – Week 8 – Day 2

Another day conquered!

Today I hit the upper body pretty hard!

I was feeling really strong!  Especially in my floor presses.

Good stuff!

I can tell the Westside programming has been paying off!

Can’t wait to see where my bench has gone up to in a few weeks.

The weather was nice, the garage doors were open, and the music was fucking loud!

Cranked it out big time!

This tune came on got me fired up!

I’m definetly on a HELLYEAH kick right now after having gone to thier concert last Friday.  Well the lead singer of HELLYEAH is from Mudvayne…  Crazy video too..

To YOU Joe Reader out there, what type of music do you listen to??

Anyways, here’s the workout i hit today:

LEAN and MEAN – Week 8 – Day 2

1A) Floor Press 5 x 5

2A) DB Palms in Bench Press 2 x Max

2B) Bent DB Rows 2 x 15

3A) Weighted Dips 3 x 8-12

3B) Weighted Pull Ups 3 x 8-10

4A) Barbell Complex:

2 sets of 5 x Snatch, 5 x High Pull,  5 x Hang Clean,  5 x Press,  5 x Cheat Curl, 5 x Bent Row

My forearms and grip were toasted after this complex!

Great workout though!

Tomorrow is rest day.  be hitting it hard back on Thursday…
