What’s up world?

I’m not sure what it is about today’s society but everyone wants things for FREE or they want things to come EASY.

Hardly anyone anymore seems to know the value of HARD WORK.

I remember when I was young, and still today that if I wanted something, I had to work for it!

I will say that I was very blessed with a great mom and dad!   They ALWAYS made sure I was taken care.

BUT, if there were things I really wanted, like material things, or extra stuff that wasn’t life or death, I had to go out and get them myself.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of kids and young athletes that are plain old lazy and want things for free.

I’m ranting just a little bit here because this has gotten old!

What people need to do is understand the importance of hard work.

The harder you work for something, the more valuable it comes when you get it.

Think about it, when you get something for free, how many times do you simply throw it away or treat it as nothing?

But when you BUY something for a high price, or work very hard to get it, then it has VALUE and it means something.

You see, when you PAY YOUR DUES, it creates meaning behind what ever it is your doing.

Kind of like hard work in the weight room.  Training hard.  Giving blood, sweat, and tears to achieve your goals.

It creates meaning and when there’s meaning, there’s DRIVE, AMBITION, and DETERMINATION!

That’s what creates movement and action!

Action is what we need for achieving goals!

I hope you understand what it is I’m saying to you!

PAY YOUR DUES, you’ll get what you put in!

Here’s my training day:

1A) Snatch 6 x 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1

2A) Deadlift 7 x 12, 8, 6, 4, 4, 2, 2

3A) DB Push Jerk  4 x 6

3B) Rope Climb 4 x 1.5 – 1

4A) Reverse Hypers 3 x 12

4B) Weighted Plank 3 x 60 secs

Go out, put in the hard work and appreciate what you get out of it!

PS – To those of your out there that are “paying your dues” let me know what it’s worth to YOU??
